Gaavrin.  (Ed O'Ross).  Tellarite engineer and brother of Skalaar.  The two used to work together running freight on the Tezra before they were caught passing through Klingon space.  The ship was impounded and the cargo taken.  Gaavrin later decided to become a maintenance engineer at a space station near Klingon space, and had no interest in life aboard the Tezra anymore.  ("Bounty" [ENT]).

gagh
.  Serpent worms, a Klingon culinary delicacy.  A common opinion is that
gagh was best served live.  ("Sleeping Dogs" [ENT]).

Galartha.  Cliffs for climbing on the planet Risa.  The rockface was difficult to scale as it constantly changed pitch while one climbed.  Travis Mayweather fell and broke his leg while climbing the cliffs.  ("Two Days and Two Nights" [ENT]).

Gardner, Captain.  Starfleet Captain who Ambassador Soval thought would've been better suited to command the S.S. Enterprise than Captain Archer.  ("Shadows of P'Jem" [ENT]).  Gardner was one of four pilots involved in the NX-Test Program.  ("First Flight" [ENT]).

Garos.  (Wade Andrew Williams).  Malurian disguised as an Akaali owner of a craft store.  His store was right above a massive underground mining operation of veridium isotopes.  Garos was forced to leave the planet after Captain Archer forced a shutdown of the operation.  ("Civilization" [ENT]).  Williams previously played Trajis Lo-Tarik in "One" (VGR).

Garrett, Mrs.  Woman who had Stron fix her sink among other things.  Her son called Stron Moe because he looked like one of the Three Stooges.  ("Carbon Creek" [ENT]).

Gavarian ship.  Ship that had a certain type of locking mechanism which one of the Ferengi who boarded the Enterprise was familiar with.  He thought that there was a similar kind in sick bay.  ("Acquisition" [ENT]).

geskana.  Game played by people on Zobral's planet, similar to lacrosse where two teams both try to pass a ball into a goal with their sticks.  ("Desert Crossing" [ENT]).

Goff, Firek.  (Scott Klace).  Captain of a Retellian cargo vessel.  Goff attacked Kaitaama's ship, killed her guards, and abducted her.  He later abducted Tucker when Kaitaama prematurely awoke from her stasis.  Tucker was helping to fix the stasis pod after Enterprise received a distress call from Goff, but was knocked out and abducted.  Tucker escaped the ship in an escape pod and Goff pursued him to the planet where he landed.  Goff was shot by Tucker on the planet and apprehended.
  ("Precious Cargo" [ENT]).  Klace previously portrayed Dremk in "Juggernaut" (VOY).

Goroth, Captain.  (Michael Garvey).  Klingon captain who placed a bounty on Captain Archer's head for 9,000 darseks.
  ("Bounty" [ENT]).

Gosis, General.  (Francis Guinan).  High-ranking military officer on the planet where Reed left his communicator.  He was called from the Eastern perimeter to interroagate Archer and Reed.  He ordered their execution.  ("The Communicator" [ENT]).  Guinan previously played Minister Kray in "Ex Posto Facto" (VOY), and Zar in "Live Fast and Prosper" (VOY).

Grand Canyon.  Large canyon landmark that is an American national park located in Arizona.  T'Pol never visited the Grand Canyon while she was on Earth.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).

grappler.  Device used by the S.S. Enterprise to grappel ships using magnetic wires.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).

 

Grat, Colonel.  (Dean Stockwell).  Tandaran officer, head of Detention Complex 26.  After Captain Archer and Ensign Mayweather had been captured and placed there, Grat was very persistent in trying to gather any information they had on the Suliban.  ("Detained" [ENT]).  Stockwell is obviously known as the co-star on Quantum Leap with Scott Bakula.

gravimetric field displacement manifold.  Technical term for the warp drive.  ("Cold Front" [ENT]).

graviton telescope.  Type of observation device.  Captain Archer helped set up the graviton telescope while on a mission with the Vulcans to study a dark matter nebula.  ("Breaking the Ice" [ENT]).

gravity plating.  Used on starships for artificial gravity.  The gravity plating on the E.C.S. Fortunate was lowered in some areas.  ("Fortunate Son" [ENT]).

Great Pyramid of Giza.  The largest of ten pyramids built in Egypt whose construction was observed by anthropoligists from 2769.  They followed all the proper protocols when it came to time travel.  ("Cold Front" [ENT]).

green tea.  Tea made from leaves that are not fermented before drying.  T'Pol preferred hot green tea.  ("Breaking the Ice" [ENT]).

Grish.  (Matt Malloy).  One of four Ferengi who raided the Enterprise.  He was more timid of a businessman who thought they should've taken what they had and left.  ("Acquisition" [ENT]).

GroznikDenobulan who had a spat with one of his wives, Vesna.  His second wife, Kessil, moved to Teerza Prime around this time to be with her third husband.
  ("Stigma" [ENT]).

Guri.  (Aaron Lustig).  Previous member of the Takret militia.  He and two others tried to resign their commissions after they discovered the militia was corrupt.  The militia would not allow them to, and they attempted to hunt the fugitives down.  Guri and the others hid aboard the S.S. Enterprise during a neutronic wavefront and later headed to the Gyrannan system for safety.
  ("The Catwalk" [ENT]).  Lustig previously portrayed a doctor in "Ex Posto Facto" (VOY).

Gyrannan system.  System where a few fugitives from the Takret militia headed for safety from the militia.  ("The Catwalk" [ENT]).
