Saint Peter's Square.  Largest Catholic church, located in Vatican City, where Phlox attended mass.  ("Cold Front" [ENT]).

Sajen.  (Christopher Shea).  Suliban prisoner at Detention Complex 26.  Sajen was friends with Danik, but was very distrustful of humans and Tandarans.  ("Detained" [ENT]).  Shea previously played Keevan in "Rocks and Shoals" (DS9) and "The Magnificent Ferengi" (DS9).  He also played Saowin in "Think Tank" (VOY), and would later play Captain Telev in "Cease Fire" (ENT).

San Francisco Zoo.  Zoo located in San Francisco that Commander Tucker suggested the Vulcan Elder see.  ("The Andorian Incident" [ENT]).

Sarin.  (Melinda Clarke).  Suliban female who gave information to Klaang on Rigel X regarding the actions of the Suliban Cabal in the temporal cold war.  She had been part of the cabal, but had realized the price of evolution was too high.  Sarin was killed while trying to escape Rigel with the Enterprise crew. ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).

sarium micro-cells.  Power source used in phase pistols.
  ("Cogenitor" [ENT]).

Sato, Hoshi.  (Linda Park).  Exolinguist and communications officer aboard the S.S. Enterprise.  Before serving aboard the Enterprise, Hoshi was an exolinguistics teacher in Brazil.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).  Hoshi was second in her class and had taken three years of Starfleet training.  In the beginning of their mission, Hoshi was hesitant to some of the things involved with it.  She got claustrophobic when wearing an environmental suit, and was always feeling this during her training which she struggled through.  Her quarters were on E-deck, starboard section five, where the stars were going the 'wrong way' because she had always slept in portside quarters before.  She had considered going back to the university in Brazil to teach, but she opted to stay because of her usefulness to the crew.  ("Fight or Flight" [ENT]).  When Hoshi left Earth she knew 38 languages.  She planned to learn more when she went on vacation to Risa.  She happened to meet a man named Ravis with similar interests and the two became intimate with each other. ("Two Days and Two Nights" [ENT]).  While transporting from alien ruins during a diamagnetic storm, Hoshi had a dream that her molecules were slowly breaking apart and she was becoming less visible.  She also dreamt that aliens from the surface of the planet, despite that there really were none, were trying to blow up Enterprise.  The dream was caused by her being stuck in the pattern buffer for 8.3 seconds, although the dream probably took place in the last one or two seconds as her matter stream was coalescing.  ("Vanishing Point" [ENT]).

Sato, Mr.  (Keone Young).  Father of Hoshi Sato.  Mr. Sato was contacted by Archer in Hoshi's dream during her transport from alien ruins during a diamagnetic storm to inform him that Sato's molecules had broken apart.  ("Vanishing Point" [ENT]).  Young previously portrayed Buck Bokai in "If Wishes Were Horses" (DS9).

Sausalito.  City in California where the Vulcan compound was located.  Commander Tucker lived near there when he first joined Starfleet. T'Pol was stationed in the Vulcan compound for some time before being stationed on Enterprise. ("Broken Bow", "Fusion" [ENT]).

scalloped potatoes.  Potatoes baked in a casserole with milk and bread crumbs.  Scalloped potatoes were available on the S.S. Enterprise.
  ("Singularity" [ENT]).

sector 3641.  Sector where the Suliban were from.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).

selenium isotopes.  Variations of the non-metallic element selenium.  Such isotopes were in the atmosphere of the 62 moons orbiting a gas giant that Tucker and Zho'kaan crash-landed on.  The isotopes disrupted sensors and neutralized engines.

"Seventh, The."  Enterprise episode # 33.  Written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga. Directed by David Livingston.  No date given. T'Pol is sent on a secret mission to apprehend a Vulcan fugitive that she had once pursued in the past.  She begins to doubt her mission when she starts recalling repressed memories. Sh'Raan Vulcan starship, Surak-Class.  The Sh'Raan was the ship that Enterprise had intended to rendezvous with and drop off Ambassador V'Lar.  The ship came to the rescue when Enterprise was forced to drop out of warp by three Mazarite vessels.  ("Fallen Hero" [ENT]).

"Shadows of P'Jem."  Enterprise episode # 15.  Story by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga. Teleplay by Michael Sussman and Phyllis Strong.  Directed by Mike Vejar.  No date given. When T'Pol is recalled by the Vulcan High Command, Archer takes her on a mission alone to Coridan to try to convince her to stay aboard the Enterprise.  The mission becomes eventful when they are kidnapped by a terrorist faction on the planet, and the Andorians aid assistance. .  Late-16th and early-17th century actor and author who was very respected on Earth.  Drennik was fond of the works of Shakespeare.

shale.  Term used by the Novans meaning lies.  ("Terra Nova" [ENT]).

Shaw.  (Kieran Mulroney).  Helm officer aboard the E.C.S. Fortunate.  Shaw was hesitant to attack the Nausicaans.  ("Fortunate Son" [ENT]).  Mulroney previously portrayed Benzan in "The Outrageous Okona" (TNG).

Shenandoah.  Starfleet ship assigned under the command of Captain Duval.  ("Silent Enemy" [ENT]).

Sherry, Aunt.  Aunt of Malcolm Reed whom he sent letters to.  She told Malcolm she received his letters, but his parents did not due to them moving back to Malaysia.  ("Shuttlepod One" [ENT]).

shib'a lizard.  Desert reptile that colonists from the deuterium processing colony hunted.
  ("Marauders" [ENT]).

shield frequencies.  Rates at which energy shields on a starship refresh.  Matthew Ryan demanded the Nausicaan raider's frequencies from the Nausicaan prisoner so that he could exact revenge.  ("Fortunate Son" [ENT]).

Shilat.  Member of the crew of the Kantare ship that died before the crash landing.  Shilat exited in an escape pod, but was never saved in the 22 years he had been in space.  He was later recreated in holographic form by Ezral.  ("Oasis" [ENT]).

Shiraht.  (Eric Pierpoint).  One of four Eska hunters that Captain Archer met on the rogue planet Dakala.  ("Rogue Planet" [ENT]).  Pierpoint previously played Ambassador Voval in "Liasions" (TNG), Captain Sanders in "For the Uniform" (DS9), and Kortar in "Barge of the Dead" (VOY).

Shirkar Academy.  Institution on Vulcan where Tolaris taught literature.  ("Fusion" [ENT]).

"Shockwave."  Enterprise episode # 26.  Written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga.  Directed by Allan Kroeker.  No date given.  When Enterprise goes to visit an alien mining colony, they accidentally ignite the atmosphere of the planet.  Afterwards, they are ordered to head back to Earth, but intervention from the future by Daniels helps to show the Enterprise that they weren't responsible, but that the Suliban were as a part of their temporal cold war. Enterprise episode # 27.  Written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga.  Directed by Allan Kroeker.  No date given.  After Captain Archer is taken to the future by Daniels, the future is irrevocably changed because of Archer's missing presence from the past.  Archer and Daniels try and create a device to communicate with the past where Silik and the Suliban are searching Enterprise for Archer. Shran.  (Jeffrey Combs).  Member of the Andorian Imperial Guard and leader of the raid on the Vulcan sanctuary on P'Jem in 2151.  Shran told Captain Archer that he was in his debt after finding the Vulcan sensor array.  ("The Andorian Incident" [ENT]).  Shran was later on Coridan where he helped an away team from the Enterprise save Captain Archer and T'Pol.  He felt that he had an obligation and that his debt was repaid once Archer was safe.  ("Shadows of P'Jem" [ENT]).  Shran led a military assault force down to Weytahn in 2152.  When the Vulcans called for a cease fire, Shran requested that Captain Archer come and mediate the dispute.  He later left the planet and engaged in peace talks on Andoria.  ("Cease Fire" [ENT]).  Jeffrey Combs has previously portrayed Tiron in "Meridian" (DS9), the roles of Brunt and Weyoun on DS9, and Penk in "Tsunkatse" (VGR).  He would later go on to play Krem in "Acquisition" (DS9).

"Shuttlepod One."  Enterprise episode # 16.  Written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga.  Directed by David Livingston.  November 9th, 2151.  When a routine shuttlepod mission mission ends early,  Trip and Reed find what they believe to be the Enterprise crashed on several asteroids near their rendezvous coordinates.  With a limited supply of oxygen and little hope of being rescued, the two have to come to terms with their certain fate. No guest cast. "Silent Enemy."  Enterprise episode # 12.  Written by Andre Bormanis.  Directed by Winrich Kolbe.  September 1st, 2151.  When Enterprise is attacked by an unidentified enemy ship, the crew must work frantically to get their new phase cannons to operate. Meanwhile, Archer realizes that no one knows Reed well enough to give him a personalized birthday gift. silicon-based lifeforms.  Biological forms whose organic chemestry is based on the element silicon, rather than the more common element, carbon.  Captain Archer tried to convince Commander Tucker that his dellusions on the unknown minshara-class planet were silicon-based lifeforms.  ("Strange New World" [ENT]).

Silik.  (John Fleck).  Leader of the Suliban Cabal.  Silik was receiving orders from the future in order to fight the temporal cold war.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).  Because he failed in his mission to throw the Klingon Empire into civil war, his enhanced vision was ordered to be taken away by the mysterious figure from the future.  He was then sent on a mission to save the S.S. Enterprise from its destruction in a stellar nursery.  While on that mission, he destroyed Daniels' manifestation and attempted to steal some of his technology.  While escaping from the ship, Captain Archer prevented him from taking the technology,  but Silik escaped anyways.  ("Cold Front" [ENT]).  In 2152, Silik was assigned to bring Captain Archer to the figure from the future alive after reasoning that Archer had future help to counter the plans of igniting the atmosphere of Paraagan II.  He and many of his ships surrounded Enterprise, forcing them to give up Archer, although Archer was intercepted and brought to the future by Daniels.  ("Shockwave" [ENT]).  After Archer went missing, Silik tried to contact the humanoid figure to determine what to do.  After the figure did not appear, he began interrogating the crew of Enterprise.  After his soldiers caught Reed breaking into Daniels' quarters, he tried operating the device that Reed acquired in there.  But the device was part of a plot to bring Archer back from the future, and Archer knocked Silik unconscious when he came through the humanoid figure's portal.  Archer used Silik as a hostage to make it back to Enterprise and force the Suliban to call off their pursuit.  ("Shockwave, Part II" [ENT]).   Fleck previously played Taibak in "The Mind's Eye" (TNG), Ornithar is "The Search" (DS9), Koval in "Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges" (DS9), and Abaddon in "Alice" (VGR).

"Singularity."  Enterprise episode # 35.  Written by Chris Black.  Directed by Patrick Norris.  August 14, 2152.  The crew becomes obsessed over trivial matters when the proximity to a black hole affects the minds of the crew. siren calls.  Term used by boomers to describe the unique waveforms caused by the intense EM magnetic fields in some types of gas giants.  When Ensign Mayweather was younger, his father played the siren calls whenever they passed in proximity to the waveforms.  Travis said it gave him nightmares sometimes.  ("Sleeping Dogs" [ENT]).

Six-Oh-Two Club.  Bar in Mill Valley where Starfleet cadets went.  Malcolm Reed and Charles Tucker had both met the waitress Ruby before knowing each other, and they both had been intimate with her.  ("Shuttlepod One" [ENT]).  Jonathan Archer and A.G. Robinson had also been to the bar before, where they once got in a fight over the matter of the worthiness of the design of the NX-prototypes.  Maxwell Forrest had also been to the bar before.  ("First Flight" [ENT]).

Skalaar, Captain.  (Jordan Lund).  Tellarite merchant who ran freight with his brother, Gaavrin.  His ship, the Tezra, was taken by the Klingons and impounded when he was taking a shortcut through their space.  He became a bounty hunter to pay and get his ship back.  He captured Captain Archer in exchange for a Klingon bounty that was set for him.  But Archer helped to persuade Skalaar that he was not guilty and that the Klingons were dishonorable.  He then gave Archer the means to escape from the Klingons after handing him over.  ("Bounty" [ENT]).  Lund previously portrayed Klingon Officer Kluge in "Redemption, Part II" (TNG) and Woban in "The Storyteller" (DS9).

"Sleeping Dogs."  Enterprise episode # 14.  Written by Fred Dekker.  Directed by Les Landau.  No date given.  When Enterprise comes across a wounded Klingon vessel, T'Pol, Hoshi, and Reed take a shuttle pod down to investigate. There they are ambushed by a hostile female Klingon who hijacks the shuttle pod, leaving the Enterprise crewmembers dangerously stranded on the Klingon vessel. Now it is up to Archer to take the Klingon under guard and enlist her help in rescuing his crew. GUEST CAST:  Michelle C. Sluggo.  Pet name given to the slug which the Enterprise picked up.  Sluggo did not respond well to living aboard the Enterprise and was later dropped off at a planet with an Argon atmosphere.  ("Fight or Flight" [ENT]).

snow beetles.  Type of insect that Phlox used in sickbay along with other animals to treat patients.
  ("The Expanse" [ENT]).

snow-sailing.  Sport that Commander Tucker had participated in in New Zealand when his consciousness was replaced by one of the wisps.
  ("The Crossing" [ENT]).

Socorro, Ensign.  Officer aboard the Enterprise that when sweating, Phlox noticed smelled like a Nausicaan.  ("Fight or Flight" [ENT]).

Solkar.  First Vulcan ambassador to Earth.
  ("The Catwalk" [ENT]).

Somraw Klingon scout, raptor-class.  The Somraw descended into the atmosphere of a class-9 gas giant to make repairs after a raid on a Xarantine outpost.  The crew became ill during their repairs, and the ship sank deeper into the atmosphere.  A boarding team from the Enterprise tried to help the crew and ship, but their shuttlepod was stolen by Bu'kah while they were aboard.  Eventually, they ascended with the help of a later convinced Bu'kah.  ("Sleeping Dogs" [ENT]).

"Son of Frankenstein."  One of numerous sequels to the movie "Frankenstein" that was planned by Tucker on being aired with that series of films on movie night.
  ("Horizon" [ENT]).

"Song of the Wandering Angus, The".  Poem written by William Butler Yeats that Jonathan Archer's mother had always read to him when he was younger.  He hadn't remembered that until a telepathic creature indigenous to Dakala appeared tp him as the woman from the story.  ("Rogue Planet" [ENT]).

Sonsorra.  (Leonard Kelly-Young).  One of the worshippers of The Great Plume of Agosoria who watched the event aboard the S.S. Enterprise.  ("Cold Front" [ENT]).

 

Sopek, Captain.  (Gregory Itzin).  Captain of the Vulcan starship Ni'Var.  He was sent to intercept the Enterprise and bring T'Pol back to Vulcan.  When he found that T'Pol was being held by terrorists on Coridan, he arranged a strike against the compound.  While there, T'Pol took a shot for Sopek, and Captain Archer convinced him to speak to the Vulcan High Command on her behalf.  ("Shadows of P'Jem" [ENT]).  Itzin previously portrayed Ilon Tandro in "Dax" (DS9), Hain in "Who Mourns For Morn?" (DS9), and Dr. Dysek in "Critical Care" (VOY).

Sophocles.  Greek tragic dramatist of the 5th century BC on Earth.  Drennik was interested in the works of Sophocles.  ("Cogenitor" [ENT]).

Soval, Ambassador.  (Gary Graham).  Ambassador of Vulcan to Earth.  Soval helped the humans in their efforts to acheive warp 4.5.  He was hesitant to allow humans to return Klaang to Qo'noS alive.  Children jokingly referred to him as "Ambassador Pointy."  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).  Under his authority, he suspended all joint fleet operations between Vulcan and Earth due to the actions of Captain Archer and the Enterprise.  ("Shadows of P'Jem" [ENT]).  Soval requested Archer to mediate a dispute on Paan Mokar in response to Shran's request.  He accompanied Archer to the surface when their shuttlepod was shot down by Andorians.  Soval had served as an intelligence officer on the planet in the earlier conflict, so he helped Archer and T'Pol to the Andorian camp.  On the way there, he was shot by one of the Andorians under Tarah's command.  ("Cease Fire" [ENT]).  Soval advised Starfleet not to enter the Delphic Expanse due to its dangerous nature.  ("The Expanse" [ENT]).  Gary Graham previously played Tanis in "Cold Fire" (VGR) and also portrayed Sikes in the Alien Nation series.

Spacedock cafeteria.  Eatery aboard an orbital station of Earth.  ("Shockwave" [ENT]).

spare ribs.  Food prepared aboard the S.S. Enterprise.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).

speleothem.  Cave features created after the formation of underground caves.  A trio of Denobulans studied some speleothems on Xantoras.
  ("The Breach" [ENT]).

Sputnik.  First artificial satellite launched from Earth in 1957.  A Vulcan survey ship studied Earth and Sputnik for a few weeks before crashing on the surface.
  ("Carbon Creek" [ENT]).

Stameris.  Planet where a slave market was located.  The Ferengi who raided Enterprise wanted to sell some of the female crew members to the market for a profit.  ("Acquisition" [ENT]).

Starfleet Medical.  Starfleet facility located in San Fransisco.  Klaang was taken care of at Starfleet Medical.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).

Starfleet.  Deep-space exploratory, scientific, diplomatic, and defensive agency of Earth.  Starfleet was chartered with the mission to "boldly go where no man has gone before."  Admiral Forrest was in charge of Starfleet in 2151.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).

steak.  A thick slice of beef served broiled or fried aboard the S.S. Enterprise.  ("Fortunate Son" [ENT]).

stealth technology.  Type of technology used by the Suliban to conceal their ships from sensors.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).  The Xyrillians also employed stealth technology in their vessels.  ("Unexpected" [ENT]).  SEE: cloaking device.

stegosaurus.  Herbrivorous dinosaur from Earth's long-distant past.  Tucker said that if he could travel through time, he would like to see a stegosaurus.
  ("Future Tense" [ENT]).

stellar nursery.  Astronomical phenomena.  A stellar nursery was on the course of the S.S. Enterprise after they left the Axanar ship.  Tucker had seen one once.  ("Fight or Flight" [ENT]).  The Enterprise later encountered a stellar nursery where the Great Plume of Agosoria was located.  That particular one had frequent plasma storms.  ("Cold Front" [ENT]).

"Stigma."  Enterprise episode # 40.  Written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga.  Directed by David Livingston.  No date given.  T'Pol has an illness that becomes serious, but is unwilling to ask the Vulcans for help due to the taboo status of it.  Phlox tries to find some data under pretense and T'Pol is found out and recalled to Vulcan. stomatopod larvae.  Newly hatched marine crustaceans that were shipped by the E.C.S. Horizon.

When a violent storm strands them on the planet, Archer must find a way to save them before they turn dangerously on one another. stratopod
.  Shuttlepod designed by the Vissians with extra shielding to be able to travel inside stars.  Drenik and Archer travelled in the stratopod to study a hypergiant.  ("Cogenitor" [ENT]).

strawberry shortcake
.  Dessert cake topped with strawberries.  Travis Mayweather was fond of the nutripack variety of the dessert.

Strom, Dr. 
(Bob Morrisey).  Vulcan doctor who helped investigate Phlox's request for data on Pa'nar syndrome at Dekendi III.  ("Stigma" [ENT]).

Stron
.  (Michael Krawic).  One of three survivors of the crash of a Vulcan survey ship near Carbon Creek.  Stron was the engineer, and he continued to fix things during his stay on Earth.
  ("Carbon Creek" [ENT]).  Krawic previously portrayed William Patrick Samuels in "The Maquis, Part I" (DS9), and Rhamin in "Day of Honor" (VOY).

stun grenade.  Type of weapon carried aboard the S.S. Enterprise used to render humanoids unconscious within a certain radius. ("Terra Nova" [ENT]).

subspace beacon.  Transmitting buoy that Skalaar used to fool the S.S. Enterprise by transmitting his ship's warp signature.
  ("Bounty" [ENT]).

Suliban.  Race from sector 3641 that was purportedly no more evolved than humans.  However, members of the Suliban Cabal were genetically engineered in payment for fighting a temporal cold war.  The Suliban were given a broad range of enhancements such as subcutaneous pigment sacs and biomimetic garments to camouflage, extra bronchial lobes and altered alveoli clusters for abilities to breathe better in different environments, compound retinas to see many things out of normal Suliban eyesight, and the ability to measure trust by close proximity.  The Suliban leader, Silik, was taking orders from a humanoid figure from the future to provoke Klingons into hostilities with each other as a part of the temporal cold war.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).  Not all Suliban were enhanced, as some were nomadic and spread across their region, settling on various worlds.  They were forced to move away from the Suliban homeworld because it became uninhabitable.  Later, many Suliban living in Tandaran space were rounded up supposedly to protect them from the cabal.  ("Detained" [ENT]).  The Suliban intercepted Enterprise after it headed on a course for Earth following the attack by the Xindi probe.  They kidnapped Captain Archer and brought him to the humanoid figure.  ("The Expanse" [ENT]).

Suliban Cabal.  Organization fighting in the temporal cold war in return for genetic enhancement.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).  The cabal had begun its attacks around 2143.  ("Detained" [ENT]).

Suliban cell ship.  Two-person craft that in numbers comprised the structure of the Suliban helix.  The Enterprise captured a Suliban cell ship in order to infilrate the helix.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).  A fleet of these pods confronted Enterprise in order to retrieve Captain Archer.  ("Shockwave" [ENT]).  The captured cell ship sat in the shuttlebay on Enterprise until Commander Tucker used it for a covert mission to rescue Archer and Reed from an exceution on a planet where Reed left his communicator.  ("The Communicator" [ENT]).

Suliban helix.  Aggrogate structure comprised of hundreds of vessels held together by magnetic seals.  The structure contained 3,000 Suliban.  It is also where the temporal chamber was housed. Captain Archer demagnetized the structure sending hundreds of pods chaotically out into space.  The Suliban helix was located in a class-7 gas giant.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).  The S.S. Enterprise was hijacked by the Suliban after Daniels brought Archer to the future, and brought to a helix.  ("Shockwave, Part II" [ENT]).  Archer was brought to a helix by the Suliban in order for the humanoid figure to inform him on the Xindi threat.  ("The Expanse" [ENT]).

Suliban homeworld.  Home planet to the Suliban that became uninhabitable approximately 300 years prior to 2151.  ("Detained" [ENT]).

Suliban ship.  Craft used by the Suliban which used a trycyclic plasma drive.  The S.S. Enterprise pursued a Suliban ship from Rigel X to the Suliban helix.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).

Suliban stealth cruiser.  Starship used by the Suliban Daniels gave Captain Archer the information on how to detect one and infiltrate it to collect information on how the Suliban sabotaged one of Enterprise's shuttlepods.  The schematics for the ship were on a device hidden in Daniels' quarters.  ("Shockwave" [ENT]).

Suliban tow.  Minimally armed starship used by the Suliban to tow vessels.  A tow was sent to retrieve the future pod, but was prevented from doing so by the S.S. Enterprise.
  ("Future Tense" [ENT]).

Sunset Boulevard.  1950 movie that was one of many available on the S.S. Enterprise.  This movie was screened a week after For Whom the Bell Tolls. ("Dear Doctor" [ENT]).

Superman.  Comic enjoyed by Charles Tucker featuring the superhero Superman.  ("Shuttlepod One" [ENT]).

supernova.  Rare stellar phenomenon where a star explodes.  The S.S. Enterprise encountered and studied a hypergiant in 2153 that was going to supernova in a century.
  ("Cogenitor" [ENT]).

Surak-class.  Type of Vulcan starship including the Ti'Mur.  The Surak-class was capable of warp 6.5 and was equipped with a tractor beam.  ("Breaking the Ice" [ENT]).  When the S.S. Enterprise was fleeing from an unknown enemy in 2151, a Surak-class ship was two days away.  A variant spelling has been listed in closed captioning as Suurok.

Surak.  Father of the Vulcan philosophy of logic.  ("The Andorian Incident" [ENT]).  Surak's teachings were almost always interpreted to mean that Vulcans should purge emotions.  There were several groups who left Vulcan in search of different interpretations and altogether different philosophies.  ("Fusion" [ENT]).

Suus MahnaVulcan martial art that takes years to master.
  ("Marauders" [ENT]).

synthetic bio-toxins.  Chemical compound smuggled by Menos.  The toxins were commonly used to create transgenic weapons.
  ("The Seventh" [ENT]).

sweet spot.  Term referring to the area of a starship between the grav generator and the bow plate, where there is no gravity.  ("Broken Bow" [ENT]).
