Ulis.  (Ethan Phillips).  Captain of the Ferengi who raided the Enterprise.  During the raid, Archer lied to him about having a safe with lots of gold bars, and he went on to search for it himself.  He was eventually caught with the other Ferengi.  ("Acquisition" [ENT]).  Phillips also played Dr. Farek in "Menage a Troi" (TNG), the Maitre d' in Star Trek: First Contact (uncredited), and most notably Neelix on VOY.

Ulysses.  Book about the mythological character Ulysses that Malcolm Reed had intended to read while onboard a shuttlepod mission with Charles Tucker.  ("Shuttlepod One" [ENT]).

"Unexpected."  Enterprise episode # 5.  Written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga.  Directed by Mike Vejar.  No date given.  When Tucker is dispatched to assist an alien ship with its power source problems, he is delighted to have a friendly encounter with one of the ship's female engineers. But after discovering that their special moment has resulted in his becoming pregnant, he realizes he's had an unwitting experience with alien sex. Now it's up to the Archer and the crew to return the rapidly growing alien baby to its mother. Union Station.  Train station in Washington D.C. on Earth that Hoshi Sato compared the Enterprise's traffic to.  She was saying so only to delay Captain Sopek after the Enterprise launched a shuttle to save Captain Archer and T'Pol from captivity on Coridan.  ("Shadows of P'Jem" [ENT]).

universal translator.  Device used to provide real-time two-way translation of spoken languages.  The device was used aboard the S.S. Enterprise.  A smaller version was incorporated into the communicators.  ("Fight or Flight" [ENT]).

Utopia Planitia.  Colony established on Mars by humans.  ("Terra Nova" [ENT]).
