| Xantoras.
Planet that had frequent changes in its government. One such change
occured in 2153 after a few years of instability. A militant faction
took over and demanded that all off-worlders leave the planet.
The S.S. Enterprise came to Xantoras at the request of the
Denobulan Science Academy to retrieve a few Denobulan
geologists whom they had lost contact with.
("The
Breach" [ENT]). Xarantine outpost.
Outpost for the Xarantine people that was successfully raided by the
Klingon scout Somraw. ("Sleeping Dogs"
[ENT]). Xyrillian ship. Starship that was hiding in the wake of the S.S. Enterprise's plasma exhaust, through the use of stealth technology, in order to hitch a ride by allowing the exhaust to replenish their terraphasic coils. The vessel was discovered when the exhaust was ignited. Commander Tucker went through a decompression process to help repair the ships engines. The ship had many organic interior components including grass and fruit growing on the walls. Once the engines were repaired, the Xyrillians left, only for the coils to break down again a few days later. The Enterprise discovered the ship eight days later in the wake of a Klingon battle cruiser. When the Klingons discovered it, they only agreed to let the Xyrillians go if they gave them some of their holotechnology. The ship had a crew of 36. ("Unexpected" [ENT]). |
Xyrillians. Humanoid, spacefaring race with reptilian features such as dermal plating which changed colors to show their mood. Xyrillian pregnancies only utilized the genetic material of the mother which was placed in the ribcage of the male. The gestation period for a pregnancy was six weeks. Their method of reproduction was putting both hands into a box of granules that granted them telepathic powers. ("Unexpected" [ENT]).
